In the Bhagavad Gita it says that faith in God was born with sacrifice.
Why can’t religion exist without sacrifice? Because in order to understand higher things it is necessary to forget about superficial things for a while.
In order to feel Divine Love we need to to sacrifice, to restrain our desires and instincts.We need to fast, be alone and forget about the outside world. We need to forgive and to have no regrets.
The situation in the world at present is an opportunity to forget about everyday worries and think about the Almighty, return to Him and to feel His Love.
