How to Forgive Someone Who Worships Desires and Condemns

When I understand that a person, who is unable to constrain his desires and condemns others and ill-mouths them, that this person has renounced love, then I can make the logical conclusion that this person may well betray me in terms of money, or other benefit to him, he may well lie, and that he may let me down in the future, and that I need to be ready for this.

If he does then let me down, I can only smile as he has managed to cheat me.

I had not predicted some of his actions. I need to be more careful and far-sighted in the future.
