When a person has a clear picture that pride is not an evil which should be destroyed but it is a lack of love, an unwillingness to develop and an unwillingness to change, then everything becomes much easier.
Why can’t a proud person take any criticism? Why does a proud person thinks he is 100% right? Why does he like to preach but doesn’t like to learn?
Because pride is a shortage of love.
When love is lacking, changes take place with pain.
Change is controlled destruction.
A person with increased pride can’t develop. You can easily find out the level of pride not only by a desire to be better and above others but by an unwillingness to learn and change.
By an unwillingness to find compromise, to be flexible, by not being good natured and by laziness and bad mouthing. When we say bad things about other people, we feel that we are better.
