When a person does not want to develop, when a person is lazy, when a person doesn’t try to find a solution to his problems, then his pride is growing.
The solution to any situation always happens in two ways (again, a dialectical approach).
The unity and struggle of the opposites.
This is trying to change the situation on the external level and working on the inner, deeper level - i.e. balancing our soul, increasing love and good-natured spirit, all of which is changing our characters for the better.
The more we balance these two opposite tendencies, the more we overcome our pride.
The bigger the contract between our opposites, the bigger I am as a person, the bigger my collective thinking and morals, the closer I am to God.
This is important to understand.
