The Almighty is the source of everything, without Divine energy no living being can survive. Any being that internally renounces God begins to lose life force and dies. According to the Biblical legend, the devil is a creature that thought itself above God, felt its primacy, and began to fight against the Divine will. God is one, everything is from God, – hence, the devil is also from the Almighty. The devil is a tendency of imperfection inherent in all living beings.
There is a tendency towards devilry, but no devil as a real entity. The harsh picture of the world is partly due to our incorrect perception of mythological Biblical characters, reflecting certain tendencies of our development and thinking. Only God is eternal, and God is love. We should react to everything with love only. We need to strive to perceive any stress with inner joy. For this, we need to remember that the devil does not exist. Only God is eternal, and only He is present everywhere and in everything every second.
Everything comes from God – which means everything is highly lawful, humane, and leads to love. Even the most severe losses and misfortunes have an educational and constructive meaning. Illness, misfortune, death – all these are help from above. This is destruction that comes when there is not enough love in the soul. Conflict with the outside world pushes a person to develop, – this happens when love in the soul increases. If there is not enough love, conflict turns into the destruction of the opponent or self-destruction.
We try to destroy the world, and then we perish ourselves. And the sharper the conflict with the world, the faster we perish. Conflict is the struggle of opposites. Conflict becomes destructive when there is no unity, love, and faith in God. When these are present, then any conflict leads not to the destruction of the opponent, but to cooperation, help, friendship, development. The more we see the opportunity to develop in everything, the less aggressive we become.
If we know how to conflict correctly, then conflict becomes development, and stress – a blessing. The inner sense of the Divine presence in everything gives us a sense of unity with the whole world, and with our opponent. The right attitude to destruction, to changing situations, understanding that every conflict is development, not misfortune, allows a person to relate correctly to the world and turn degradation into development. For a spiritual person, love is not in the first place, but their own righteousness, a sense of superiority, hatred of evil. But since God is one and everything is from God, any prolonged condemnation, hatred, resentment – is aggression towards God, which turns into a program of self-destruction.
It's important to understand that good and evil are two sides of the same coin, that everything happening is Divine. Everything develops according to the law of trinity, the law of unity and struggle of opposites. Those who understand this will not worship extremes. Opposites should interact, struggle, assert their individuality, and at the same time understand that they are united and at the Divine level constitute a whole. Then, every situation in life will help us to develop and be happy.
