Reflection of the Higher Laws of the Universe

A detached, chaste person, who has overcome greed, envy, and anger, and who has conquered the mind, that is, overcome dependence on consciousness, a yogi gradually changes their soul for the better, and through striving for God, achieves the highest transformation of the soul.

Any truth, like a seed thrown into the soil, unfolds in science and religion. The increasing external development process is accompanied by a weakening of the initial internal impulse, and people, whom in India are called yogis, today have largely lost the main meaning of their activity - unity with God. Europeans, seeing the beneficial consequences of yogic exercises, adopt this form, enhancing their external energy at the expense of losing the internal.

Many people, seriously practicing yoga for the development of supernatural abilities, have died or ended up in psychiatric clinics, because such actions are no different from magic, the essence of which is the self-serving use of higher energies. Any white magic eventually becomes black. Those who realized the danger of serious techniques in their incorrect application, moved on to the most superficial aspect - physical exercises (hatha yoga), helping to detach and tame their desires. Such exercises undoubtedly have a beneficial effect on both the body and the soul of a person.

Not so long ago, I read an interesting note in the newspaper. In Italian prisons, inmates were allowed to practice yoga, and the number of fights and violations sharply decreased. Elementary physical exercises, reducing dependence on physiological functions, promoting detachment, reducing attachment to desires and the surrounding world, helped change the habits and character of many inmates. All sacred books ultimately talk about one thing. Abstinence, sacrifice, restraint of aggressive feelings allow any person to educate themselves and change their character. But real, deep change of a person's soul is impossible without striving and love for God.

Those who were called saints, and those who called themselves yogis, were essentially walking the same road, in the same direction. Saints, besides detachment from money, career, comfortable living, abundant food, and sex, also detached from spiritual goods. Many took a vow of silence, retreated to deserted places to more easily stop consciousness. They refused goals, tasks, and thoughts about tomorrow. Christ said that the Kingdom of God can be obtained not only by those who have internally renounced material wealth, but also by those who can renounce spiritual wealth.

Spiritual wealth is communication, it is the mind, it is plans, goals and tasks, it is knowledge accumulated by humanity. All this can also obscure love, just like a luxurious house, a good job, and big money. The laws of the universe are the same for all, believers and non-believers, humans and animals. Why does Krishna, addressing Arjuna, speak of the connection between periods of impiety and the accumulation of sins? Probably, this is also a reflection of the higher laws of the universe. Periodically, throughout the entire universe, a tuning fork resonates, tuning souls to unity with God.

A new Divine energy arrives, and the next stage of the universe's development begins. The seed of the new era comes in the form of Divine revelations, scientific and religious representations of the world. This information will change the worldview, the souls of people, their character, and destiny. A period of flourishing and development will come. And then the first impulse will begin to weaken, and the worship of the material and spiritual will intensify. Accordingly, faith in God will weaken, vices and crimes will become more frequent, and higher laws will be violated.

«Because of the increase of lawlessness, in many, love will grow cold», says the Gospel.

When love leaves the soul, diseases and misfortunes begin, and then the life of a person, a nation, or a civilization ends. In animals, such a process leads to death, but a person, by changing their character and worldview, can overcome death and begin a new stage of development. And the more opportunities for transformation and change, the less death is needed as a tool of development. Therefore, a society that cares about the morality of its citizens, helps them overcome their attachments and vices, and strictly punishes moral crimes.

A society where being a believer and moral is profitable and honorable, and being a scoundrel is extremely disadvantageous, will survive more easily, and the new impulse, necessary for revival, will be accepted easily and painlessly.

A society, where religion and morality take a back seat, and money, well-being, and the satisfaction of passions are in the foreground, can only survive through diseases, wars, and cataclysms. In this case, misfortunes will be salvation for such a society. He who persists in his sins must be punished with special severity, only this can help his soul.

Remember the proverb: «A word to the wise, a stick to the fool».

The First and Second World Wars, which erupted on the planet in the last century, were very much like a stick with which we were explained that we had not grown up to understand many truths, or rather, had lost this understanding.
