Salvation of the Soul
The fate of all sorcerers, magicians, healers, and psychics who forget about faith in God is the same: they encounter serious problems with their body and psyche, and their descendants degenerate and perish. A sorcerer who spoke about his misfortunes vividly illustrated what happens to everyone who chooses such a path. It all begins with renouncing love and worshipping power, authority, and spirituality. This power and authority turn into worship of instincts—hunger, money, sex.
Then a person, having lost the Divine likeness, begins to turn into an animal and, by the mercy of the Almighty, perishes to prevent the complete corruption of their soul. What can now be observed in the temples is a sign indicating that the cycle of time allotted for this stage of humanity's development is ending, and we need to move to a new level. The later this transition occurs, the more painful the consequences of our current state will be.
I let a friend read the manuscript of this book. After some time, he called me and said that he did not understand why the sorcerer's children had died. If the sorcerer turned to God, then his children should have survived.
«I think this will deter many from reading your books,» he said, «It turns out that turning to God can lead to disasters and deaths. Religion presents it quite differently.»
The next morning he called back and said something I did not expect to hear from him:
You know, I reread this story and realized that the children of the former sorcerer died logically. But I was intrigued by why I couldn't understand this immediately.
And I understood why: I felt both protest and fear in my soul.
It turns out that if you do not turn to God, you will live long, but if you do turn, you might die agonizingly or become severely ill, a disaster might happen, your children might perish...
I have three children. I realized that fear had closed off my understanding.
«The thing is,» I replied, that we need to overcome certain stereotypes that block the path to truth.
We are accustomed to believing that love for God is only happiness and that, by believing in God, we will immediately find ourselves in paradise. This framing of the question is only beneficial to the religious organization as a political and commercial structure. But it distorts the truth because approaching God is not only happiness but also a great danger.
A person who has turned away from God must undergo serious internal transformation so that approaching God not only makes their soul happy but also helps their body survive.
Sometimes the processes of a person's soul's decay can go so far that approaching God saves their soul, but at the same time, they must part with their health and even life.
Fear of God, aggression towards God, and internal grievances against God arise because we personify the Almighty. We degrade the Creator to the image of a person, ascribe human logic to him—thus grievances arise. If we trusted a person who suddenly starts to punish us, we perceive it as betrayal, as treachery and injustice.
Turning to the Almighty is always salvation, but it is the person's essence that is saved, their soul is saved. When a person is drowning, they are saved, but not their clothes or the treasure they carried with them. Similarly, in a fire, people are saved, not the furniture, bags, or suitcases.
Above us, we will always be saved. But the further we have strayed from the Almighty, the harsher the salvation of our soul will appear in relation to the body, well-being, and life.
We should not attribute human logic to the Almighty. We are accustomed to considering humans the center of the universe. Besides human logic, there is Divine logic. It is primary and will never be fully understandable to us. But we must be ready to accept it, otherwise we will not be able to comprehend and understand the world around us and live in harmony with it.
