Introduction
Recently, I came across an interesting phrase on the internet: «Life is ten percent what happens to us and ninety percent how we react to it». For many years, I have been saying that we determine the extent of our unhappiness ourselves. Our health and destiny depend on our feelings and our attitude towards life. Our worldview and character influence our perception of everything that happens to us and around us. If our worldview and character are imperfect, it can lead to problems with both our health and our destiny.
People often believe that they have become masters of nature and have reached a high level of development. However, when evaluating not the external, material level but the level of understanding of how the world is structured and the laws by which it exists, progress is quite insignificant. We mostly live in illusions.
Throughout history, people have understood that behavior, thoughts, and feelings affect health and destiny. Prophets, sages, and seers who could see subtle plans, the past, and the future simultaneously have illuminated this topic. They possessed knowledge about how improper behavior and aggressive feelings affect not only a person's health but also the health of their descendants.
We can't fully comprehend how our feelings and actions can change our life, our health, and even our character. There's a saying: «Sow an act and you reap a habit, sow a habit and you reap a character, sow a character and you reap a destiny». Our emotional perception of the world, our feelings, determine our health and the fate not only of ourselves but also of our descendants. The state of the soul, subconscious worldview, emotional perception of the world—all of this is passed on to our descendants.
As we internally, subconsciously relate to the surrounding world, so does the world relate to us. How our parents and grandparents treated people, how we treat people—this is how people treat us. In other words, our feelings determine both our health and our relationships with others.
A person's health is closely connected to communication—the ability to communicate with others, with nature, and with oneself. Inability to communicate with people leads to condemnation and resentments, which in turn lead to illnesses. Incorrect attitudes towards destiny, the inability to accept one's destiny and be grateful for it, dissatisfaction and complaints about the world—all of this also gives rise to troubles and diseases.
Nowadays, doctors understand that at the core of all diseases lies unresolved stress and a weakened immune system. A person with a weakened immune system is more vulnerable to stress, which can lead to illnesses.
The immune system is an indicator of the main life energy, which has long been known in India and China and called prana or qi. High life energy ensures a strong immune system. When life energy weakens, the immune system declines, and diseases begin to manifest.
Stress is a reaction to changes in the world around us, to external discomfort. Stress can lead either to illnesses and death or to recovery if we react to the situation correctly. Stress is an outpouring of energy necessary for salvation, a protective reaction of the body. If this energy is transformed into love, development, and creation, a person recovers. However, if this energy is directed towards emotions such as irritation, resentment, regret, hatred, or despair, a person can become ill and even die.
If a person holds love in their soul in any situation, they stop depending on the surrounding world, and their soul finds harmony. In a stressful situation, if a person seeks opportunities for growth and positive change, strives towards God, then the energy of stress is no longer directed towards hardening, regret, fears, or despair.
The ability to maintain positive emotions, kindness, and love when the environment pushes for dissatisfaction and fear is the ability to activate inner life energy. This is the path to harmony. Therefore, if a person keeps love in their soul, doesn't look for culprits, doesn't get irritated due to discomfort, and doesn't worship stability and well-being, then they are on the path to health.
A person derives life energy from their soul, and the soul receives energy from the First Cause through love and unity with the Supreme. A person's physical health directly depends on their energy. And a person's energetic state, in turn, is connected to their feelings.
Our feelings have an energetic nature. Feelings are a person's reaction to the surrounding world, to events of the present, past, and future. Aggressive feelings lead to a decrease in the level of the main life energy. We lose this energy when we hate, get offended, feel down, regret the past, or fear the future.
The correct attitude towards life involves the ability to refrain from passions, periodically detach oneself, not get attached to this world, and maintain love, forgiveness, and faith. These are the basic conditions for health.
